Flag Football will start again in Fall 2013….check back!
General Football Information
Beehive Sport and Social Club football is co-ed flag football. A team fields 8 players a time with a minimum of 3 being women. A team must have at least 6 players two of which are women to play in a game. Please see FAQ for registration instructions and fee information.
Football Season
Football seasons are 7 weeks long followed by 2 weeks of playoff games. This season every team will make the playoffs.
This years football season will begin September 18th and sparing the wrath of Mother Nature end the week before Thanksgiving. Please see the official schedule for exact dates.
Football Game Days and Times
Football games will be played at Noon and 1PM on Sundays. Please see the official schedule to confirm which days and times your team will be playing.
We’ll do our best to keep your team’s days and time the same but cannot guarantee there won’t be a couple changes. If you have a time/day preference please list it on your registration form.
Field Locations
This season we’ll be playing Football at Sunnyside Park. Click here to see the park on Google Maps. There is water and shade at the park. We will play games rain or shine – unless you receive an email plan to play.
Awards
We’re not really into trophies so we decided an engraved WWF style belt would be more fitting for our winning Football team. Whatever team turns out the most people to our sponsor bars/restaurants will also be awarded with a hefty bar tab. In addition to all that love all of our teams will receive a round of drinks on Beehive SSC after the final regular season game.
