BeehiveSSC Inner Tube Water Polo is co-ed. A team consists of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 12 players. A team will field 5 players (4 and a goalie or 5 and no goalie), at least 2 of which must be women. A minimum of 4 players from your roster and/or pre-registered substitutes is needed to start or continue a game.
We offer 7-week seasons of Inner Tube Water Polo. The regular season will be 6 weeks followed by one week of playoffs (all teams will get a playoff week game). The game is a super-fun variation of water polo, and requires no experience to play and enjoy. Sitting in inflatable tubes, your team paddles, passes, and shoots the ball toward the goal of the opposing team. Each week your team plays two 20-minute halves. Like all of our leagues, this is casually competitive. All games are followed by a Post-Game Social at a local watering hole.
