September Newsletter

Friends,

It’s September and my 6yo son just got out of eye surgery. He's doing fine but I'm not in a very jokey mood. I will say, it's kinda really nice to have football back. It’s such a unifying cultural thread these days. Probably like what the Pope was back in the 1000s or what finding a really soft leaf to wipe with was in the 000s. So, whether you’re a Woodland Creature, Nordic Warrior, Native American tribe or Airplane fan—let me be the first to say “Welcome, let's enjoy the games” 🏈🏈

Now the “other” sports stuff 🐝🐝:

  1. Fall sports are falling into the place. BasketballFutsalDartsIndoor VolleyballCornhole.
  2. Sunday Flag football is FULL (unless you're a lady looking for a team) but we still have a little room for Saturday kickball teams.
  3. If you’d like to make a new friend come join our next Strangers Getting Drinks (alcohol optional) event on 9/8.
  4. We are wrapping up our summer Referee Appreciation Week and let me tell you: Beehive players are great, but Beehive refs are legends. Lots of ❤️❤️❤️ to all of you!
  5. Below is the best cereal bowl spelling from last month! This month squeeze the marrow out of summer and climb a tree (safely). Reply back with a photo in said tree and I will save you money on your next Beehive league!
